Caring for the Caregiver Support Program
November 24 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Caring for a loved one who is struggling with an ongoing physical/medical or mental health need can be exhausting and overwhelming. Knowing how to find a balance with meeting our own needs can be a challenge. But if we don’t learn how to care for ourselves equally, we might soon find that we are also developing issues with our healthy wellbeing.
If you are struggling in with your role as a Caregiver, please join Tacit Knowledge for our 2-Part Caring for the Caregiver Support Program (this is a FREE Online Program) – Monday evenings at 6:30pm, on November 17th and 24th. Each session runs for 1 to 1.5 hours (depending upon the flow of the conversation). There will be just 2 sessions in total – you are welcome to attend one or both as you are available.
Participants will learn about a variety of fundamental strategies that are required for a healthy wellness balance – and that can be incorporated into a life that involves caring for someone else, too. Attendees will also have the opportunity to share their frustrations and successes with one another.
This Workshop Series is being facilitated by Kim Silverthorn BA, RPC, MPCC, CT of Tacit Knowledge – and is offered in partnership with Beaumont FCSS. Kim has over 30 years of experience as a therapist, and often works with families/agencies who are trying to effectively address the stress that exists in their lives.
This Workshop series is available to everyone – you do NOT have to be a Beaumont resident to participate. Participants are welcome to attend one or both of the sessions, as they are able (although different themes will be discussed each night, you do NOT have to attend both evenings to get something helpful out of the experience).
Please contact Beaumont FCSS (780-929-1006) to register and to access the Zoom link. You only need to register once, for both weeks of this Workshop Series.
