Coming Together After COVID

June 7, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Coming Together After COVID

There is no doubt that these last 2 years of COVID have polarized our beliefs/opinions about what was true/untrue or right/wrong, as a society.  And personal relationships (within families, between friends, at work) have suffered as a result.  As the debate waged on, the neutral zone grew thinner and people have felt pressure to take a side. Because frustration levels have hit an all time high, these sides have sometimes been demonstrated with aggression and hostility, with judgement and ridicule, and with seemingly inflexible lines being drawn in the sand.

Join us to learn how to find the way back to respectful, caring relationships, regardless of our COVID beliefs.  Get help to know how to repair some of the damage caused by COVID.  Regain the relationships that matter the most in life while still feeling safe enough to disagree.

This FREE Workshop is being offered by the Strathcona County Library, in partnership with Kim Silverthorn BA, RPC, MPCC, CT of Tacit Knowledge.  It will be on Tuesday, June 7th, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.  Everyone is welcome (you do NOT have to be a resident of Strathcona County to participate).

It is hoped this Workshop will be happening In-person – but there is a chance it will be Online instead.  To register, please contact the Strathcona County Library directly at https://scl.bibliocommons.com/events/626b332d934f852f000cf37c
