Tacit Knowledge will be partnering with the Leduc/Devon/Beaumont Primary Care Network, as staff participate in a course on Managing Stress and Building Resiliency.

The human brain is wired before birth to notice and respond automatically to the negatives in life. But the art of becoming resilient is a learned process that requires the development of new pathways in our brains, to counter the negative bias that comes so naturally. Tacit Knowledge’s session teaches participants how to create the resiliency they need in life to lessens feelings of anxiety, depression and stress; and helps participants develop a stronger sense of intrinsic motivation and purpose.  It provides an understanding of how the 4 key foundational elements (sleep, nutrition, hydration and activity) are so necessary for maintaining a healthy balance in a hectic life, and helps participants integrate these elements into their daily lives so that balance can be achieved regularly.

This is a closed Training facilitated by Kim Silverthorn BA, RPC, MPCC, CT.   Kim has over 30 years of experience as a therapist, and often works with families/agencies who are trying to effectively address the stress that exists in their lives.
