Dealing With Difficult Feelings: Emotional Regulation

This Training Session increases participant’s basic understanding of the different types of difficult emotions (like depression, anxiety, anger, apathy, fear, etc) that create sometimes seemingly insurmountable challenges and isolation for those dealing with these issues – and for their friends, family, and colleagues at work.

Participants learn about a variety of fundamental strategies and mindfulness techniques (an emotional regulation toolbox) that can be used to empower themselves or their loved ones who struggle with any difficult emotion.  It includes skills for emotional problem solving, crisis management, building tolerance, and the ongoing managing of feelings in a healthy way.  These tools are useful for all ages.
