How To Cope With The Modern World

April 15 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

How to Cope With The Modern World

Join us for the How To Cope With The Modern World  Workshops Series, designed to help participants handle the tensions that form as opinions sometimes become polarized around issues like the LGBTQIA+ world, book-banning rallies, vaccines and anti-vaxxers, conspiracy theorists, etc.  The sessions in this series will focus on how to Find Forgiveness, Build Resiliency, Create Hope and Develop Happiness when dealing with these critical and complicated situations. We will also be discussing how to successfully navigate relationships with friends and family who perhaps share very different perspectives and values.

Join us for this FREE 4-part Mental Wellness Workshop Series (How To Cope With The Modern World) – offered virtually, through Zoom – Monday evenings, at 6:30pm – from April 8th to April 29th, inclusive.

This Workshop Series is being facilitated by Kim Silverthorn BA, RPC, MPCC, CT of Tacit Knowledge – and is offered in partnership with Beaumont FCSS.  Kim has over 30 years of experience as a therapist, and often works with families/agencies who are trying to effectively address the stress that exists in their lives.

This Workshop series is only available to Beaumont and local area residents.  Participants are welcome to attend all or just some of the sessions, as they are able (different themes will be discussed each night, so you do NOT have to attend every evening to get something helpful out of the experience).

Please contact Beaumont FCSS (780-929-1006) to register and to access the Zoom link.  You only need to register once – you do not need to register for all 4 sessions in the series.
