How To Cope With The Modern World

May 14 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

How to Cope With The Modern World

Join us for the How To Cope With The Modern World  Workshop, designed to help participants handle the tensions that form as opinions sometimes become polarized around issues like the LGBTQIA+ world, book-banning rallies, vaccines and anti-vaxxers, conspiracy theorists, etc.  The session will focus on how to successfully navigate relationships with friends and family who perhaps share very different perspectives and values.

Join us for this FREE Mental Wellness Workshop (How To Cope With The Modern World) – offered in-person – Tuesday, May 14th, at 1:00pm – for the Senior’s Corner, at the Beaumont Library.

This Workshop Series is being facilitated by Kim Silverthorn BA, RPC, MPCC, CT of Tacit Knowledge – and is offered in partnership with Beaumont FCSS.  Kim has over 30 years of experience as a therapist, and often works with families/agencies who are trying to effectively address the stress that exists in their lives.

This Workshop is available to everyone – you do not have to live in Beaumont to participate.  Registration is requested: https://beaumontlibrary.com/Events/Seniors-Corner-How-to-Cope-with-the-Modern-World?id=1715713200-529982
