Anxiety/Depression Support Group Program
September 22 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Depression and anxiety create sometimes seemingly insurmountable challenges and isolation for those living with these issues on a regular basis – and for their friends, family, and colleagues at work.
If you or someone you know is struggling with issues of anxiety and/or depression, please join Tacit Knowledge for our Anxiety/Depression Therapy Support Group (this is a FREE Online Program) – Monday evenings at 6:30pm, from September 22nd to October 27th, inclusive – there will be NO session on October 13th, due to the Thanksgiving holiday). Each session runs for 1 to 1.5 hours (depending upon the flow of the conversation) . There will be 5 sessions in total – you are welcome to attend all or just some of the sessions as you are available.
Participants will learn about a variety of fundamental strategies and mindfulness techniques that can be used to overcome feelings of anxiety and depression. These tools are useful for all ages. Attendees will also have the opportunity to share their frustrations and successes with one another.
This Workshop Series is being facilitated by Kim Silverthorn BA, RPC, MPCC, CT of Tacit Knowledge – and is offered in partnership with Beaumont FCSS. Kim has over 30 years of experience as a therapist, and often works with families/agencies who are trying to effectively address the stress that exists in their lives.
This Workshop series is available to everyone – you do NOT have to be a Beaumont resident to participate. Participants are welcome to attend all or just some of the sessions, as they are able (although different themes will be discussed each night, you do NOT have to attend every evening to get something helpful out of the experience).
Please contact Beaumont FCSS (780-929-1006) to register and to access the Zoom link. You only need to register once, for all 5 weeks of this Workshop Series.
